Unlock
Defeat a boss in the snowy biome.
Ability behavior
Santa’s Present calls an attack around the character’s position after a delay.

Strengths

  • Starts with a direct weapon alongside the delayed ability.
  • The Present supplies a separate attack to plan movement around.
  • Using the ability develops Santa’s character-specific improvements.

Weaknesses

  • The delayed strike cannot replace an immediate answer to every nearby enemy.
  • Obstacles can restrict movement after activating the Present.
  • The Shotgun needs enough support to handle enemies between Present activations.

Choose this character when

Choose Santa when you want a direct gun and a delayed area attack in the same starting plan.

Choose another character when

Avoid relying on Present alone when enemies can reach you during its delay.

Priorities

  1. Keep Shotgun support working between Present activations.
  2. Activate the Present where there is room to move afterward.
  3. Use the modifiers already unlocked rather than assuming the starter ability has its later coverage.

Builds and equipment

Defeat the boss in the snowy biome to unlock Santa. His starting equipment includes Shotgun and Santa’s Present.

Santa’s Present calls an attack around your position after a delay. Leave space to move after activating it, especially before crossing an obstacle or when enemies are closing in. Keep the Shotgun working between activations.

The notebook describes character-specific improvements gained by using the ability. Build around the modifiers you have unlocked rather than expecting the initial attack to have its eventual coverage or cooldown.

Version 1.0 fixes the airstrike marker matching its explosion and removes a size bonus applied twice to radial blasts. An older recording with a larger blast can therefore give misleading placement advice.
