Quick reference
Keep the starting weapon useful, take the base coffee, and choose a loot route that returns toward the bus. Delay a rare craft if collecting its parts would leave you unable to fight now.
- Base coffee
- The 1.0 starting coffee improves movement and looting speed and lengthens days.
- Route information
- Read map size alongside loot rather than treating a larger map as a better stop.
- Equipment activation
- A nearby support does nothing unless the weapon is an eligible marked recipient.
What to do
- Improve an active weapon before holding several incomplete crafting paths.
- Plan a container circuit that bends back toward the bus.
- Finish fueling and leave before the return approach is blocked.
- Fix the observed failure: reload coverage for reload gaps, movement for unsafe access, or activation for inactive gear.

Crafting and mergingHelps decide whether consuming the current weapon is worth the craft.Starting weapons and coffee
Keep a weapon that clears nearby enemies and give its supports the marked positions they need. Save an elaborate craft for a run that is finding the parts. Keep a working attack while the recipe is incomplete.
At base, use the coffee stand. The 1.0 starting coffee improves movement and looting speed and makes days longer. It helps with collecting supplies, but still leaves you responsible for a safe route through the crowd.
Route selection
Read the mission card’s map size alongside its loot. Jolly favors compact, loot-rich early stops in the Early Access guide, while warning that trying to clear everything repeatedly cost the run.
Plan a circuit that bends back toward the bus. Complete the fuel objective and leave while the approach is open. A final box on the far side of a growing crowd can cost more than its contents are worth.
Choosing upgrades
If enemies reach you during reloads, improve reload coverage or keep another usable attack. If you cannot reach containers safely, movement or looting support may be more useful than another damage item. When the weapon works and the drops are poor, keep improving it instead of forcing a new plan.
Before closing the bag, inspect the main weapon’s support marks. Proximity is not enough; it must be an eligible recipient inside the selector.
A late detour calls for an earlier exit. Inactive equipment calls for a hand and marking check. Change the build when you can identify what failed, instead of starting over after every loss.
Experience and survival
Kills leave experience to collect. Each level brings another airdrop choice, so a safe loop through defeated enemies can improve the backpack without another long trip to a container. Leave a path out before turning back for experience.
If effects hide the ground, follow the edge of the crowd rather than running through the center. Music-note projectiles come from the Yodler enemy; keep moving across their path and leave space to dodge. A damage upgrade does not remove the need to avoid incoming attacks.
Returning to base
The bus advances the current journey to its next stop. Returning to the home base happens when the run ends through victory or defeat. Spend the apples and duct tape earned there before starting another journey.
