Quick reference
Empty rarity dots identify undiscovered equipment versions. Gold trophies identify items counted in victorious runs. These are separate from crafting every recipe and collecting every memo.
- Book Closed
- Check missing rarities and enemy entries.
- Item wins
- Carry each target in the active bag through a successful finish; progress accumulates across wins.
Useful equipment and guides
A missing rarity and a missing trophy require different actions
Assume the encyclopedia shows an empty Epic dot for an item, and a second item has no gold victory trophy. The two missing marks represent different objectives.
Fill the rarity dotObtain the specific missing rarity through the appropriate merge or recipe path.
Carry the trophy targetKeep the other target item equipped in the active bag through a victorious finish.
Read the objectiveCrafting all recipes and collecting memos have separate completion requirements.
Another high-rarity discovery does not replace an item win, and a successful run does not establish every undiscovered rarity.
Read the two kinds of progress
The encyclopedia records discoveries and successful item runs separately. For Book Closed, inspect empty rarity dots beneath equipment entries as well as undiscovered enemies. For The Winning Collection, look for the small gold trophy on each completed item entry.
| Mark or objective | What it tells you | Next action |
|---|---|---|
| Empty rarity dot | That rarity has not been recorded for this entry | Obtain that version, using merges or crafting where needed |
| Gold trophy | The item has counted in a victorious run | Choose an entry without a trophy for a later win |
| Craft Them All | Completion of the recipe list | Craft the missing output; finding it is a different task |
| Paper Trail | Memo collection | Check the Investigation Board, separately from item discoveries |
Cairn.L’s November 3–4 replies identify both indicators. The item-win objective accumulates across victorious runs; it does not require every item in one backpack. Keep the target item in the active bag when completing the run. Buying or finding it and then leaving it in storage does not satisfy that condition.
Choose the next missing entry
Open an equipment entry and identify the empty dot before starting another journey. If the gap is a rarity, obtain that rarity specifically. One powerful copy does not establish that every lower version has been discovered.
For unavailable equipment, check the base item packs, recipes and Shady Merchant before repeating the same loot route. Review banished items when a needed ingredient stops appearing. Crafting and merging explains the upgrade paths and the More Rarities unlock.
For a missing trophy, carry an uncompleted item alongside a loadout that can win. Avoid sacrificing the main attack just to fit several target items; they count only after a successful finish.
Memos and Laz
Players reporting 23/25 or 24/25 memos have not established one universal final-memo location. In a November 3–4 discussion, Celine Dion reports finding another memo in Endless, but still remains at 24/25. That report supports checking further routes; it does not prove that the final memo always appears in Endless.
An unseen enemy entry is also different from an empty equipment rarity dot. If Laz is the remaining entry, it cannot be filled by upgrading another weapon. Use the HQ and boss guide for the campaign route, and keep completion objectives separate when choosing the next run.
