Challenge route

Look, no hands! achievement route

Quick reference

For Look, no hands!, finish a run without using weapons that require hands. Vampire provides an unarmed opening; extra hand capacity does not remove a weapon’s requirement.

Objective
Win without using a hand-requiring weapon.
Disqualifier
Equipping a hand-requiring fallback during the attempt breaks the restriction.
Worked example

The first firearm breaks the no-hand plan

Start a fresh normal run as Vampire, whose opening has bats and no conventional weapon.

Result

Finish without using a hand-requiring weapon. A brief prohibited equip cannot be repaired by removing it later.

Challenge conditions under the official achievement objective. This is a route plan, not a guaranteed clear.

Start without a conventional weapon

Vampire starts with bats and no conventional weapon, making the opening consistent with this restriction. Unlock the character through Syringe’s life-steal objective before planning the challenge. Safe experience collection adds bats as the character gains levels.

Survivor starts with Pistol. Removing that gun later does not provide a clean no-hand route. Start a fresh attempt with a suitable opening instead of trying to repair a restriction already broken.

This is a restricted victory, separate from a high-damage build. An ordinary Vampire run can use additional weapons; this attempt cannot use a weapon requiring hands, even temporarily to survive a bad reward.

Check rewards before Auto Equip

Read a candidate’s hand requirement before equipping it. A throwable or character item should be judged by its actual tooltip rather than its appearance. Preserve the bat swarm’s active state when rearranging the bag, and choose support whose receiver rules explicitly accept the intended attack.

Plasma Hand supplies equipping capacity. It does not turn a hand-requiring weapon into a no-hand weapon. Keep it out of the plan as a supposed workaround for the restriction.

Survive the early stops

Keep the bus route accessible while collecting experience. Do not substitute a dangerous dense-circle movement pattern for a weapon upgrade: the swarm needs time and levels to develop. Health Kit and movement support can help with different survival problems; life steal remains chance-based.

Use normal runs for this achievement. Version 1.0 fixes Weekly Challenges progressing achievements in unintended cases, so a favorable Weekly loadout is not the route to plan around. Check the actual achievement after the victory rather than treating a promising early bag as completion.
