Spring needs eligible footwear in its marked set. Adding a shoe somewhere else in the bag does not necessarily increase capacity. After a rarity upgrade, inspect both its threshold and selector rather than assuming the old arrangement still satisfies the new plan.
The Japanese notebook recommends this route for Surfer’s six-dash stamina condition. Exact footwear counts depend on the current item and rarity; read the tooltip before buying another pair. Walking Shoes and Roller Skates also provide different movement-trigger functions while participating in a footwear arrangement.
Additional stored dashes do not make it safe to spend every dash before a boss telegraph. Save one for the next unavoidable lane or sweeping attack. The boss guide explains where capacity and timing matter separately.
