How the combination works
Wi-Fi Repeater transfers received buffs; Hand Mirror copies an incoming effect between opposite marked recipients. Inspect the final weapon after every transfer.
- Repeater
- The source must affect the repeater and its selector must reach a valid receiver.
- Mirror
- The destination must occupy the opposite marked position.
Find the broken transfer
Start with Battery supplying an on-hit effect and an eligible ranged receiver.
- Incoming effect
Battery must affect the intended relay source.
Outgoing selector
The repeater must reach a receiver that accepts the effect.
- Opposite recipient
A copied effect must arrive at the intended opposite marked item.
Inspect the final weapon. An effect on an intermediate item does not prove the last receiver is supported.
Establish the direct effect first
Start with Battery marking an eligible Pistol. Inspect Pistol’s active effects so you know what the direct on-hit lightning support looks like. Battery is chance-based; the presence of the effect is the connection test, not lightning appearing on every shot.
To use Wi-Fi Repeater instead, let Battery affect the repeater and let the repeater mark the eligible weapon. Check the final weapon again. A buff on the repeater without a valid outgoing receiver does not support the gun.
Add an opposite receiver
Hand Mirror copies effects received by a marked item to the marked item opposite it. Identify those two recipients before moving the original support. Rotation can change which object is opposite, even when the bag still looks symmetrical.
| Connection | What to inspect | Failure to correct |
|---|---|---|
| Support to repeater | The repeater receives the incoming effect | Source marks miss it |
| Repeater to weapon | The intended weapon shows that support | Receiver lies outside the outgoing marks |
| Marked item through Mirror | The opposite receiver shows the copied effect | Rotation selects a different object |
| Copied effect on final receiver | Its item type accepts the modifier | A ranged-only effect reaches an incompatible item |
Transfer does not make every modifier universal. Preserve the original effect’s recipient rules at the end of the path. Likewise, copying an incoming effect does not duplicate the item or provide extra equipment hands.
Preserve count and challenge conditions
Center of Attention counts ten other items affecting one recipient simultaneously. A complicated-looking relay is not evidence of ten counted sources. Add supports separately and inspect the receiving item’s highlighted sources. Do not count the same physical support twice because its effect has more than one possible route.
For combat, the extra receiver must justify its space. A second unsupported gun can consume hands and bag cells without improving the original attack. Keep the direct working connection while establishing the relay, then remove redundant pieces only after both intended receivers are functioning.
