  • Co-op
  • Normal
Core equipment
Battery in one bag + partner’s Pistol
Placement
Place the active Pistol inside Battery’s cross-backpack selector.
Requirements
Both players must retain working damage.
Fallback
Keep independent support if the shared-edge connection will not fit.

Strengths

  • Uses a partner’s weapon as a support recipient.
  • Needs no particular character pair.

Weaknesses

  • A partner’s rearrangement can break the effect.
  • Scrap and rerolls are shared resources.

When to pick it

Your partner has a useful gun and the edge connection fits.

When to skip it

Cross-bag placement would dismantle either player’s working attack.

Priorities

  1. Keep each player equipped.
  2. Confirm Battery marks the partner’s active Pistol.
  3. Agree before replacing the recipient or spending shared scrap.

Useful equipment and guides

Player one carries Battery near the shared edge. Player two places an active Pistol inside Battery’s selector. Battery adds chance-based lightning when the marked Pistol hits. Both players keep a working weapon; the support owner’s gun does not automatically receive the same benefit.

No particular character pair is required. Use the partner’s Pistol when it is already useful and can retain its other support at the shared edge.

Battery positioning

Move and rotate Battery until it marks the partner’s Pistol, then have that player inspect the receiver. Tell each other before moving either piece. A merge, bag extension or weapon replacement can break the connection while Battery appears unchanged.

If the relation won’t fit, support a compatible weapon in Battery’s own bag for now. Keep two independent builds until sharing the effect becomes useful.

Shared scrap and upgrades

Rerolls, scrap, experience and stash are shared. Compare both backpacks before spending. Getting the weaker player’s weapon active can be more useful than another optional damage item for the stronger player.

Battery’s owner can use a separate melee or ranged weapon; there is no need to duplicate the Pistol loadout. If the partner later replaces Pistol, check the new recipient’s eligibility and selector position.

Weapon replacements and bosses

Random lightning supplements an attack that already hits enemies. Keep independent damage in each bag so a broken shared connection doesn’t dismantle the team’s whole setup. At bosses, preserve movement instead of depending on lightning to rescue a weak base attack.
