Item overview
Yo-Yo converts separation in the backpack into reload-time reduction for marked ranged weapons. Distance and a valid selector are both required.
- Unlock
- Toy Box at the base workbench.
- Receiver
- Marked ranged weapons.
- Placement
- More separation improves the effect while the connection remains valid.
Strengths
- Uses distant backpack space for ranged support.
- Can improve the vulnerable interval between magazines.
Weaknesses
- A distant item without a valid mark provides no reload benefit.
- Does not give an ordinary weapon triggerable-item behavior.
Priorities
- Check that the intended gun is marked.
- Move Yo-Yo and compare the gun’s Reload Time tooltip.
- Recheck the connection after a bag extension or weapon replacement.
Builds and combinations
Yo-Yo reduces reload time on marked ranged weapons according to the grid distance between the item and the weapon. Unlock Toy Box at the base workbench to add it to the loot pool.
The marked receiver still has to connect. Moving Yo-Yo farther away is useful only while the weapon remains within its selector. Compare the receiving gun’s Reload Time before and after the move; that catches a disconnected layout immediately.
Guns that benefit
The Sheriff shotgun build uses reload support alongside the badge. The Minigun build needs reload coverage before the crafting transition. Pistol, SMG and AK-47 can also use eligible ranged support.
Bicycle Pump supplies damage and size, while Yo-Yo changes reload. If the gun fires effectively but enemies close in during the empty-magazine interval, inspect Yo-Yo’s connection before buying more damage support.
