Weapon overview

Minigun gives sustained fire between reloads. Protect the reload gap before committing the rest of the bag to damage.

  • Ranged
  • Sustained fire
  • Reload
  • Support dependent
Attack cycle
Sustained fire followed by a reload gap.
Downtime
The gun stops firing to reload between magazines.
Build requirement
Reload support must actually mark the gun.

Strengths

  • Sustained fire can clear enemies while the magazine lasts.
  • Reload support addresses the gap between magazines.

Weaknesses

  • A strong firing phase can hide a dangerous reload gap.
  • A replacement without support may perform worse than the gun you already have working.

When to pick it

You can support the reload cycle and survive between magazines.

When to skip it

Your current deaths happen during downtime and you have no room to fix that gap.

Priorities

  1. Arrange reload support before committing the rest of the bag to damage.
  2. Keep room to move while the gun reloads.
  3. Keep your existing supported gun until the replacement is ready.

Builds and combinations

Support the Minigun’s firing cycle and reload before replacing a working gun with it.

Yo-Yo is a frequently discussed reload support. Place the gun inside its intended marks. Keep a supported handgun or AK while arranging the replacement, and preserve movement for the period between magazines.

Sheriff offers reload-related support, but the badge does not remove the need for a workable gun cycle. A backup weapon also needs enough hands.

Players discuss repeaters, damage items and projectile coverage. Choose the effect that addresses the current weakness instead of making every mentioned support mandatory. You can delay crafting even when the ingredients are available.

A large magazine does not solve the empty-magazine interval. Before crafting, check whether reload support reaches the gun and whether movement remains fast enough to escape. Keep the Pistol or other functioning weapon until the replacement can sustain the whole attack-and-reload cycle.
